What Do I Learn From BEMM129 Digital Business?

Nowadays, people are all living in a digital life whether the person is active or passive to it. Due to the different attitude for the digital improvement changes in our life, there are people who are active and appreciate to learn it, but there are also people who ignore and leave it. For me, one of the young, I can get used to all the digital changes in my life agilely and quickly with satisfaction.

But before, usually speaking, this kind of satisfaction is more inclined to the digital products, like the smart phone. For digital business, which this module is referring to, I know it but never have chance to touch it or contact with it deeply. And fortunately, this module gives me a chance to know it more and be more familiar with it.

What I have learned from this module?

①Get touch with new thing---making blog.

This is the most interesting part for me in this module, make blog to express my own view, show it to all, browse others’ websites and communicate different opinions about the blogs. These are all new things for me, although it looks the same as post your words and selfie on social media, it's different. The content of blog was regulated to certain themes, so almost all blogs I can see are useful information. I think this is also the most charming point of this module for me. This kind of teaching is really attractive.

②Know more about digital business.

There is no doubt, the digital business era is coming. More and more devices and things are connected with internet, businesses are the same. For a successful business leader, the person needs digital business skills or perspectives. I think there are many relative successful organizations like uber, amazon, alibaba and the gojek (an Indonesian app I have known from Fajar’s last blog). These businesses are all using the digital business module well and getting achievements. And I am totally agree with the words by Jorge Lopez: “In 2020, digital leadership skills will be assumed for all business leaders and on a par with other executive skills such as finance.”

③At last but not the least, learn something from my classmates.

Discuss with my classmates under their or my blog really taught me a lot. Not only the content of digital business, but also the design of blog and the different attitudes or perspectives of a same topic which made me think things more comprehensively.

How will I use it in the future?

I am appreciate that I can have a chance of learning this module. But for how to use it, the information I received`1, I haven’t know very clearly about how or what can I use in the future. But in my opinion, they will must work, and I am really looking forward to it.
